In partnership with the Australian Psychologists and Counsellors in Schools (APACS), the Tasmanian School Psychologists Association (TSPA) was proud to host the 2025 Engage. Enrich. Empower. Conference in Hobart.
Bringing together psychologists, counsellors, educators, researchers, and allied health professionals from across Australia, the conference provided two and a half days of professional learning, collaboration, and connection. Through keynote presentations, practical workshops, research presentations, and networking opportunities, delegates explored contemporary issues affecting children and young people in educational settings.
A strong theme emerged throughout the conference: the importance of inclusion, relationships, and understanding the “why” behind behaviour, learning, and wellbeing. Sessions highlighted the value of connection, recognising the whole person, and creating environments that affirm, support, and empower young people to thrive. Delegates were encouraged to reflect on their practice, engage with emerging evidence, and explore practical strategies that could be applied within schools and broader community settings.
The conference also provided valuable opportunities for professionals to connect with colleagues from across Tasmania and interstate, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose within the profession. The energy, generosity, and commitment of attendees, presenters, sponsors, researchers, and exhibitors contributed to an inspiring and highly successful event.
TSPA is grateful to APACS, our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates for helping make Engage. Enrich. Empower. a memorable and meaningful professional learning experience.
